What being a Training Practice means
Post Graduate Training in General Practice
The practice has been approved as a training practice. This means that fully qualified doctors who have been working in hospitals will be joining the practice for periods of 4 - 12 months in order to gain experience of general practice.
As part of their training, medical students may be attached to the practice for short periods. They will only see patients whilst under the supervision of one of the doctors and with the patient's agreement.
