What you need to know
Covid-19 Update - due to the current situation with Coronavirus, we have disabled on-line appointment booking. If you have a current medical issue that requires attention, please call the surgery where the reception team will take details and add you the an appropriate list to be triaged by one of our clinical team. It is important that you give the receptionist the reason for your call so they can get you the best care as quickly as possible.
You can now attend video consultations from your home or wherever is convenient. Our GPs will determine (during a triage call) whether they feel they would benefit from having a video consultation with you. If they do, they will then arrange suitable time for this to take place. For more information, click on the above link.
Several appointments are available during our opening hours for more urgent problems. You may request an Urgent Appointment by calling the practice at 8.00am. A member of our practice team will arrange to have your symptoms reviewed by a clinician and you will be contacted again with advice / treatment or an appointment, as appropriate.
We understand that it can sometimes be difficult for patients to take time off from work to see a clinician here at the practice due to our opening hours and consultation times. We are pleased to offer patients the opportunity to request an early morning or evening appointment for any patient who finds it difficult to consult during normal hours.
If you are housebound, unable to attend the surgery and would like to request a home visit, please call the surgery before 9.30am. Requests for visits after this time should be for genuine emergencies only.
Your Appointment Responsibilities
Patients are expected to keep appointments or notify Reception in good time if they wish to cancel an appointment. Repeated failure to do this, and also any violent and abusive behaviour to any member of staff will result in the patient being removed from our list and asked to register with another practice.
